Dr FEDERICO GASPARI

 

 

Current position

 

Since January 2008 he has been a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies on Translation, Languages and Cultures (SITLeC) of the University of Bologna at Forlì. He is working on two projects related to the scientific-disciplinary sector L-LIN/12 (English linguistics and translation studies) under the supervision of Professor Silvia Bernardini: "Universals of written production in translation and in L2: the language combination Italian-English as a case study" and "Mediated modality: L2 and translated English vs. original native standard".

Lecturing experience

 

 

·    Academic year 2008/2009: part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Macerata (Civitanova Marche campus, Italy); courses taught for the three-year Degree Programme (BA level) in Disciplines of Linguistic Mediation were “English linguistics and translation studies 2nd year - Language and translation for tourism” and “English linguistics and translation studies 2nd year - Translation theory and practice”. Course taught for the two-year Graduate Programme (MA level) in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation was “Translation for international communication 1st year: Tools and technologies for specialist translation”
